However, its low impact strength and poor thermal stability have traditionally limited its use in demanding applications. By alloying these two materials, manufacturers can achieve a balanced set of properties: high impact strength, good rigidity, chemical resistance, and enhanced thermal stability—all at a competitive cost.

Unlike pure PVC, which can be challenging to process due to its narrow thermal window, our PVC/ABS blend offers a wider processing temperature range and better melt flow, ensuring smooth production and consistent quality. The incorporation of ABS significantly boosts the impact strength of PVC—our internal testing shows that impact strength nearly doubles at 20% ABS content, while rigidity and flame retardancy are well maintained.
